Classifying data for compliance reasons

Modifying data classification and sensitivity through the Data Catalog

1. Navigate to the Data Catalog UI

2. Search for the Data Product that you need to edit the metadata of.

3. Click on the "Dictionary" Tab

4. Click on the edit button

5. Click on the pencil for the column you want to modify

6. Make the changes.

7. Click on the green check icon.

8. Click "Close" when you are done making changes to the columns.

Modifying data classification and sensitivity through the APIs

Foundation offers an API endpoint to edit the metadata of a Data Product's schema, including the classification and sensitivity of each column:

/api/data/data_product/schema
